Liberty Bank
This neighborhood institution has been serving the northwest Chicago community since 1898. Originally formed by a group of neighbors to help each other purchase homes, Liberty Bank still answers only to the community, not to corporate shareholders.
These small banking institutions are vital to the neighborhoods they serve, but it's not always easy for them to stand out amongst corporate behemoths with huge marketing budgets. I'm proud to provide a variety of writing and content strategy services to Liberty Bank that help them reach a targeted local audience. Typical projects are complex, involving components like web assets, digital ads, print pieces, email campaigns, and editorial work.
A recent project:
Liberty Bank takes good care of younger members of the neighborhood community with their All-Stars Youth Savings Account. The All-Stars account has benefits that no big banks can match, like $5 for each report card with an "A" and an above-average interest rate. I helped Liberty Bank's marketing team develop a strategy for promoting this special account and wrote all the assets. I also researched and developed an educational "Kids & Money" blog series targeted to parent account holders.
