I'm a diehard local & slow food supporter. Spring through fall, I collect my CSA & CSF (Community Supported Fishery) boxes, browse several farmers markets per week, tend my backyard garden, and preserve it all by canning or freezing.

I'm a proud member of The Dill Pickle, a grocery co-op in Logan Square that carries local, sustainable products. I write articles about local food issues, including original recipes, for the co-op's quarterly newsletter, The Brine. As the co-op prepares for their move to a larger space in early 2017, I've helped them organize and standardize their signage and other digital asset files.
